Eid Gift Guide

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Asalamu alaikum, peace be upon you!

Today's post is going to be full of sadaqah (action's of voluntary charity) boosting, two fold, feel-good factor; giving back whilst giving gift's, gift guide...what's not to love?

We love...

Punjammies  The Kufiyeh Project  Mae Movement ☮ LUSH charity pot  TOMS  ebay charity

Punjammies
Punjammies are womens pyjamas, clothing made by women rescued from human trafficking. Every purchase of these women's pyjamas helps give hope! There's lots of design's and styles (long or cropped) to choose from. I love the pair that I have featured ($39)! They also have a selection of shirt's, short's and 'freedom towel's'. Sadly they only ship to the USA & Canada, boo for us across the pond!

The Kufiyeh Project
FOA (Friend's of Al-Aqsa) created this project to ensure that Palestine's only remaining kufiyeh (Palestinian Arab scarf) factory stays in business by buying the scarves in bulk and distributing them worldwide. The Hirbawi factory in Hebron is a family run business and is feeling the strain from cheap chinese import's. Make sure you buy the real deal to help this cause and keep a family business going.
Price: £7.50

Mae Movement
Mae Movement was set up by an inspiring girl and her Mother, which I found through some popular beauty vlogger's on YouTube (can you guess who i'm talking about?!), here is what they have to say: "Each bracelet is hand crocheted by a women artisan in the Katmandu Valley of Nepal. The Bracelet’s take up to an hour to make and range in thousands of colors, finishes and pattern’s. Nepal, like many other countries today, has a high rate of Human Trafficking. It is unsafe for the Women and their children, especially to travel for their work. The bracelets are a cultural craft in Nepal; it is something they love to mae-k! The Women are able to bead from their homes..." The featured set is so so pretty, and whenever I see people wear them they look a-mae-zing (get it? i'm hooked!) I was gutted that I missed out on their free international shipping offer recently- next time, i'm on it! You can also buy individual bracelet's too.
Price: $13-36

LUSH 'Charity Pot'
A kind and passionate body lotion that wants to change the world. LUSH give all the money, not just £1 or the profit made from it, but all money to charity. Plus it's vegan, cruelty free and great for all the family to use! You can also check out the Charity Pot's facebook page to catch up with which charity they will be helping next. Also, mention to your loved ones about the empties scheme Lush do, in order to recycle their plastic. You return 5 empty, clean pots to Lush to receive one of their fresh face mask's worth £5.95, absolutely free!
Price: £6.95 95g / £12.75 240g

TOMS
Perhaps one of the biggest 'give back' retail-charity merge brands in the world. If you haven't heard of TOMS already, their slogan is "one for one". Each pair of shoes you buy (children's, women's or men's), they give a poor child a pair of shoes. Aside from the classic TOMS style, they also make wedges and boots. Now not only that, if you buy their eye wear they also help with eye care, check-ups, cataract's and more, how awesome is that?? Read more here!

Ebay Charity
If you regularly browse ebay you may have come across some item's with a little blue and yellow bow on the listing. This means that part of ALL money made goes to the charity of the seller's choice. Full details are linking within the item description. So not only could you get a bargain, instead of that going into the sellers bank, it goes to a worthy cause. There is a way to search listing's where the proceeds go to charity, click here to find out more.

Buy pet food and donate to animal shelters or offer your time to play, interact or walk the animals
